1st time visiting OBX. Despite the crazy weather we had, the Island Royale was perfect for the 9 of us that came in our family. The theatre room was a favorite among the whole family, especially the other kids. The 3 levels offered us time to be together as a family but also space to not be on top of each other. The fact that the beds were made, jetted tub, pool, and whirlpool were special pluses. I think we will be seeing Island Royale again!

Despite ridiculously high expectations regarding Croatan Ridge because of the gorgeous web photos of the home, the reality was even better. Our entire group was stunned by the decor, the view, the kitchen! It was also wonderful that with 19 people, such a spacious house offers the ability to both find a private spot or to have everyone at the same table for a dinner seafood feast (We had several of those!). When we return to OBX, it will be to this house.
